Shoe Doctor - 72 Hour Challenge

(3Gins Media)

So I'd called Tim Joseph about 6 weeks prior to meeting him as he was a lead provided by my good friend David Gannon (Edward Jones); Tim had just taken over his father's Cobbler business and of course this meant a fresh opportunity to fill a need (Shoe and Boot repair) with quality craftsmanship.

For those unaware, the cobbler trade is a very distinct craft, its more humble origins are held as far back as the original leather shoes which date 5,500 years old having been found in Armenia.

However, the craft of mending shoes in its current trade before Shoemaking and Mending split during the industrial era is as old school as the 14-1600s in rural Europe.

Mr. Tim Joseph is infact a Shoe Mender (Cobbler) and can repair a large variety of Footware as well as luggage items and purses as well; if its made of a fabric, leather, rubber, fiber - he's got a method to save you money and the work ethic to back his word.

We were on a crunch time between when I found out about what he wanted done and when it was due; I myself enjoy challenges and made it happen for Tim. And we'll be doing more in the next couple weeks.
